We Built the Most Advanced Election Monitoring Platform in Africa. Here's What It Does.
Let's skip the pleasantries.
Nigeria's elections have a trust problem. Results get altered in transit. Agents get intimidated. Ballots disappear. And ordinary Nigerians sit at home, refreshing Twitter, hoping someone β anyone β is telling the truth about what's happening at their polling unit.
Watch Nigeria Elections was built to end that. Not with a petition. Not with a press release. With technology.
Become a Verified Election Agent
Join thousands monitoring polling units across Nigeria in 2027.
Here's exactly what we built β and why it matters.
π΄ LIVE FEEDS FROM EVERY POLLING UNIT
We deployed thousands of verified field agents across Nigeria's 36 states and FCT. Each one is trained, GPS-verified, and stationed at a specific polling unit. From the moment accreditation begins to the moment results are announced, they post live text updates, photographs, and observations directly to the platform.
No delay. No editorial gatekeeping. Raw, timestamped truth from the ground.
Citizens can filter feeds by state, LGA, or polling unit. You want to know what's happening in Ward 3, Kubwa, Abuja right now? You can. In real time.
πΉ LIVE VIDEO STREAMING β FROM THE FIELD
Our agents can go live. Directly. From inside the polling unit.
Citizens subscribe, purchase watch-time credits, and watch democracy unfold from their phones β whether they're in Lagos or London. They see the ballot counting. They see the agent interactions. They see the result sheet being filled.
That footage is archived. Indexed. Reviewable. Evidence.
π REAL-TIME RESULT SUBMISSION & VERIFICATION
When a result is announced at a polling unit, our agent photographs the official INEC Form EC8A result sheet and uploads it directly to the platform. Our AI layer then:
- Runs OCR extraction β reading vote tallies directly from the image
- Flags arithmetic discrepancies β if the numbers don't add up, a discrepancy alert fires automatically
- Compares the field submission against official INEC portal data β mismatches are escalated to our audit team
- Assigns an integrity risk score β so admins know which results need human review first
By the time INEC announces a state result, we already have polling-unit-level data from the field. Discrepancies are visible before they become official lies.
π¨ SOS ALERT SYSTEM β PROTECTING AGENTS ON THE GROUND
Election monitoring is dangerous work in Nigeria. Agents face intimidation, violence, and pressure to stay silent. We built a response system for exactly those moments.
Agents can trigger an SOS alert β categorized by type (violence, intimidation, medical emergency, irregularity) β with a single tap. That alert is:
- AI-triaged for priority level (critical, high, medium, low)
- Assigned to the nearest response team automatically
- Tracked in real time as responders move toward the incident
- Escalated if unacknowledged within a defined window
Every SOS alert is logged, timestamped, and auditable. No incident disappears.
π GPS-VERIFIED ATTENDANCE & GEOFENCING
An agent saying they're at a polling unit is one thing. Our platform verifies it.
When agents check in, their GPS coordinates are captured and cross-referenced against the registered coordinates of their assigned polling unit. If they're outside the geofence radius, the system flags the check-in as anomalous β and sends it for admin review.
This means no ghost agents. No inflated attendance. No payroll fraud.
π GAMIFIED PERFORMANCE & BONUS ENGINE
We pay agents for performance β and our scoring engine makes it transparent, objective, and motivating.
Every agent receives a composite score based on: - SOS Response Speed β how fast they acknowledged and responded to alerts - Result Accuracy β verification rate of their submitted result sheets - Attendance Reliability β GPS-verified check-in streaks
Top performers earn badges, climb the public leaderboard, and qualify for performance bonuses β processed directly to their bank accounts via Paystack. No cash handling. No favoritism. Just verifiable merit.
π BUILT-IN TRAINING & CERTIFICATION
Before agents are deployed, they complete structured training modules β video lessons, documents, and quizzes β all inside the platform. Courses cover election monitoring protocols, safety procedures, result sheet verification, and technology usage.
Agents who complete mandatory courses and pass the quiz unlock deployment eligibility. Every certificate is tracked. Every quiz score is recorded. Training is not optional.
πΊοΈ ADMIN COMMAND CENTER β REAL-TIME EVERYTHING
Behind the scenes, our admin dashboard is running a continuous war room:
- Live heat maps of agent locations, incident hotspots, and result submission progress
- AI-powered anomaly detection flagging suspicious patterns in results data
- Automated dispatch routing the nearest available responders to SOS incidents
- Mass messaging to broadcast critical alerts to all agents in a state or LGA
- Payroll engine calculating earnings, bonuses, and initiating bulk transfers
- Attendance validator cross-referencing GPS logs for every field check-in
Everything is real-time. Everything is logged. Everything is auditable.
π± OFFLINE-FIRST β BECAUSE NIGERIA'S NETWORK IS NIGERIA'S NETWORK
We knew agents would face network outages in the field. So we built the platform offline-first.
Agents can capture results, post updates, record SOS alerts, and complete tasks β all without a live internet connection. Data is queued locally and synced automatically when connectivity is restored. Nothing is lost. Nothing is delayed past the network recovery point.
This Is What Democracy Infrastructure Looks Like.
This platform was not built to compete with INEC. It was built to watch INEC. To watch every political party. To watch every collation officer. To make manipulation expensive, visible, and documented.
Every result submitted on this platform is evidence. Every SOS alert is a record. Every live stream is a witness.
Nigeria's elections will be watched. And because they are being watched β they will be harder to steal.
2027 is coming. We are ready. Are you?
